The view towards the centre of our Milky Way galaxy offers some stunning nebula - the Lagoon nebula in Sagittarius being one of them. A vast collection of gas and dust, shaped by the strong radiation fields emitted by nearby stars/

Date/Location: Montlaux, France - 28 August 2005
Equipment: 5" f6 Apo Refractor on AP900 mount
Camera/Exposure: ST2000XM ccd camera with Astrodon filters.  HaRGB 60/30/30/30 mins (all 10 min subs, all 1x1 binned)
