NGC2392 - The Eskimo Nebula

Vaguely resembling the parka hood worn by Eskimos, this is a very bright, small planetary in the constellation of Gemini.

Date/Location: 25 January 2008  Corringham, Essex  
Equipment: 203mm f/10 ACF  
Camera/Exposure: ST2000XM with Astrodon filters. LHaRGB image
Combinations of 2 minute and 20 second exposures were combined along with
2 minute Ha exposures primarily to keep the central star as small as possible.
 
     
Notes: A very bright Moon in the sky, very windy.
