Auriga

I didn't realise, until I started going to dark sky sites, that the Milky Way passes through Auriga (the Charioteer) and there are several conspicuous nebulae in addition to the swarms of stars and dark dust lanes.

Equipment: Vixen GP Photoguider mount / Zuiko 50mm F1.8 kens @ F4
Camera/Exposure: Olympus OM1 35mm camera / E200 slide film / 1 x 20 min exposure
Processing: Scanned with Minolta D'Image Scan Duall II @ 2700dpi, Aligned with Registar, post processed   with Photoshop 7
