IC405 - The Flaming Star Nebula
Although situated in Auriga, the bright star in the image (AE Auriga) is thought to be a runaway from the Orion nebula. The nebula is a combination or emission (red) and reflection (blue) nebula.

Equipment: 5" f6 TMB Refractor on AP900 mount
Camera/Exposure: ST2000XM ccd camera   HaRGB image  Ha=100 mins, RGB = 30 mins each  (all 10min subframes, binned 1x1)
