This is a beautiful and complicated area in the constellation of Auriga, near the more famous "Flaming Star" nebula. It is a rich area containing a mixture of emission (red) and reflection (blue) nebula.

Date/Location: 19-20 September, 2006  Equinox Star Party, Kelling Heath, Norfolk  
Equipment: 5" f/6 TMB refractor on AP900 GTO mount  
Camera/Exposure:

ST2000XM CCD camera with Astrodon filters.
LRGB = 80/30/30/30 mins (all 10 min subs, 1x1 binning)

 
     
Notes: This area is crying our for a much longer series of exposures. The above image does not do this area justice.
