Astrophotography by Eddie Guscott

M16 - (Eagle Nebula)
Made famous by the Hubble Space Telescope image (the "Pillars Of Creation" - centre of this image), M16 is known as the Eagle Nebula. However, this is incorrect. M16 is actually the cluster of stars at the heart of the nebula and the red nebula (the Eagle shape?) is actually designated IC4703. M16 is in the constellation of Serpens.
