NGC6791 - An Old Open Cluster

Situated in Lyra, this is thought to be one of the oldest open clusters, at around 8 billion years old.

Date/Location: Corringham 11 June 2006
Equipment: 5 inch f/6 TMB refractor on AP900 mount on AP900 mount
Camera/Exposure: ST2000XM CCD camera/Astrodon filters   LRGB 92/40/40/40 1x1 all 4 min subs.
   
Notes: The sky didn't get properly dark and there are still some background gradients.
