| In the Milky Way constellation of Cygnus lies a large supernova remnant known as the Veil Nebula. This is just the eastern portion, which is also the brightest part, and is designated NGC6992. |

Click here or on image for a larger view This re-processed image was taken from the same data as the image below. With the kind help of Stan Moore and the use of CCDStack, I was able to reduce the noise dramatically (due to excessively hot pixels probably caused by the cooler on the CCD camera running near to 100%) and get a little more out of the image, as well as a much smoother final image.
