Date/Location: Dengie Marshes, Essex   31st May, 2003
Equipment: 80mm refractor & 200mm telephoto lens
Camera/Exposure: Olympus OM1 35mm camera / E200 slide film exposures not recorded
Processing: Scanned with Minolta D'Image Scan Duall II @ 2700dpi, post processed with Photoshop 7
Notes: The cloud / mist on the horizon acted as a natural filter and so no filtering was used at all for these pictures  The mosaic (bottom picture) was put together from 4 separate exposures separated by about 7 minutes. The lowest image of the Sun in this mosaic was the first we acctually saw of the Sun as it rose out of the mist, and it was a lot fainter than it appears here.
